Solidarity statement with French workers and pensioners

The All-Russian Trade Union of Working Pensioners expresses its unconditional solidarity with the workers and trade unions of France that continue and culminate the relentless struggle against the co-called “pension reforms”. This is a crucial fight not only for the working class in France, it is a fight for all workers and pensioners.

It is a universal fight against the anti-people policies of the bourgeois governments that promote increasing of the retirement age.

EKYSY Kaimakli celebrated International Women's Day by hosting an event on Monday, March 6 at the Omonia North Pole House in Kaimakli. The event held within the framework of the acts in honor of March 8 in collaboration with EKYSY and the Office of Working Women of the PEO, was a complete success since the House was filled to overflowing with pensioners and retirees.

Trade union law: OSRA supports autonomous unions

The Trade Union Organization of Algerian Pensioners (OSRA) joins the autonomous public service unions, as well as the UGTA, which have clearly been very critical of the two bills submitted by the government and currently being examined at the NPC level.

The first draft relates to the exercise of the right to organize in Algeria, while the second relates to the law on the prevention of conflicts in the workplace and the exercise of the right to strike.

EPFO Subscriber Can Opt for Higher pension Now

 

Subscribers of the Employees’ Provident Fund, who had not opted for higher pension under an

earlier window, have been provided another option now. In compliance with the Supreme Court’s

November 4, 2022, order, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Monday issued

instructions to all its regional and zonal offices on the manner in which employees should apply for

higher pensions.

All Pensioners Who Did NOT Participate In Domestic Debt Exchange Programme (DDEP) Exempted.

The Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, has confirmed that all Pensioners who failed to tender their old bonds for new ones under the Domestic Debt Exchange Programme (DDEP) have been exempted from the programme.

Addressing Parliament on the State of the Domestic Debt Exchange Programme, Mr Ofori-Atta said the Pensioners have nothing to worry about adding that all their coupons and principals will be honoured when maturity is due.
