Nuestro país no se libró de la ofensiva de la clase capitalista sobre los intereses de la clase trabajadora, que vive el conjunto de los países capitalistas.
El sistema previsional es estatal; en manos fundamentalmente del Estado Nacional y en algunos casos de los Estados Provinciales. Los recursos para las jubilaciones y pensiones provienen de las/os trabajadoras/es activas/os por medio de los aportes que realizan a lo largo de su vida laboral, los aportes del Estado y patronales.
