On May 27 the second Conference of of Pensioners' Organizations of the Former Socialist Countries was held in online form. On this Conference Cde Quim Boix, Secretario General de la UIS (Unión Internacional de Sindicatos) de Pensionistas y Jubilados (PyJ) de la FSM presented and made a speech.

Congratulations to States which organized dharna today at the call of NCCPA. We have received reports with photographs through social media that huge Dharna was organized in State Capitals of Tamilnadu; Kerala; West Bengal;  Maharashtra; Assam; Rajasthan;  Chhattisgarh; Jharkhand; and Nagpur. We request other States to send photos and reports to NCCPA HQ. Our congratulations to all. (Selective photos are enclosed). Start the signature campaign immediately and effectively.

On May 10 and 11 in Beirut (Lebanon) the Second Conference of Organizations of Pensioners and Retirees of the Arab Countries was held.

The presence of a total of 13 countries (bearing in mind that dictatorial monarchies do not allow freedom of association) has been a real great success.

The list of countries is as follows: Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, Kurdistan, Algeria, Syria, Tunisia, Morocco (two delegations), Egypt, Libya, Sudan, Somalia and Yemen, which have participated in different ways to overcome specific difficulties.
