Greetings. I have sent the photographs observing the world pensioners day on October 1st in India to the General Secretary and now to you also as attachment. In India the NCCPA, AIBDPA and AIPRPA took the initiative to observe the day in all places at the call of Trade Union International (P&R). In fact many States and Districts in our country had observed the call with enthusiasm and mobilised the community of Pensioners and Retirees behind the call. The observance of the call on 1st October was in the shape of Demonstrations, Hall Meetings etc. The weakness is that we cannot get any reports from other Asian Countries. We will try to establish contacts with other countries in Asia. Regards - K.Ragavendran
